About Wes and Polysound
Polysound is a Tampa area recording studio and live sound company run by Wesley D. Price and has been serving the area since 1999. The studio has hosted sessions for over 150 bands / artists / businesses, and can handle sessions ranging from simple voice-overs to full-scale band recording and mixing/mastering. The studio utilizes a highly advanced high-definition computer system, multiple monitor systems, and one of the largest collections of microphones in the area. The studio can also help with projects that have been recorded at another facility, providing fully-automated mixing and high-end analog mastering.
The studio specializes in pop / modern-rock styles and now sees a healthy amount of hip-hop as well. Polysound also proudly serves the Christian music market and has worked on several studio and “on location” recordings for local gospel artists and churches.
Wes serves as head recording engineer and music producer for Polysound, and attended FullSail Audio School in Orlando, Florida. He also has extensive experience as a live/studio musician. As a drummer, he has shared the stage with artists such as Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane), John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Jeff Baxter (Doobie Brothers), J. Geils Band, One Republic, Dicky Betts, Dan Toler (The Allman Bros.) Rick Derringer, and Robin Zander (Cheap Trick).
